Moderna shares have skyrocketed over 680% year to date fueled by excitement over its COVID-19 vaccine program.

For Moderna to be a millionaire-maker with an initial investment of $10,000, the biotech stock would have to multiply 100 times over. 

But it’s possible. Nearly all of the biotech’s gains since its initial public offering in late 2018 were generated in 2020.

Assuming their vaccine works, and given enough time and successful mRNA therapies and vaccines, there’s at least an outside chance it could happen.
