Moscow just had a surprise visitor – drones! President Putin says at least eight of them buzzed over the city, causing damage and some injuries. He’s pointing fingers at Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, calling this a “terrorist activity.”

But guess what? Kyiv seems okay with that. An adviser to Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy says they’re “happy” to see Moscow rattled but didn’t directly organize the drone attack. Meanwhile, Russia had already sent missile and drone attacks to Kyiv for 17 nights in May. Yikes!

The drones even crashed in some of Moscow’s ritzy suburbs where the big shots, including Putin, live. While the physical damage wasn’t huge, the scare was real for Moscow’s residents. Britain’s Ministry of Defense thinks Russia isn’t doing so well with its war aims. So, it seems like Russia’s war with Ukraine just got real – at least, for folks in Moscow.
